(Rome) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Matteo Salvini, as part of his official visit to Italy.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral ties between the UAE and Italy, and means of developing them across multiple sectors, including security and defence fields.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and Minister Salvini also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
His Highness noted the distinguished relations between the two countries, and the UAE’s interest in developing them across various arenas.
For his part, Salvini welcomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed’s visit, emphasising Italy’s keenness to strengthen ties with UAE, based on strong bonds between the two friendly countries.
