Tourism Vital pillar of Dubai Economy says Sheikh Hamdan

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, participated in the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism’s City Briefing on Thursday. Emphasizing the tourism sector’s pivotal role in Dubai’s economy, he highlighted its key contribution to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Sheikh Hamdan reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to global tourism partnerships and underscored the city’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure, services, and strategic investments for an exceptional visitor experience. The event, attended by over 1200 industry professionals, showcased Dubai’s positive tourism growth in 2023, welcoming 13.9 million visitors from January to October. The City Briefing also highlighted Dubai’s achievements, including top global liveability rankings and sustainability initiatives.
