EU Companies Sign Agreements with Egypt

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced over 20 new deals and MoUs worth more than 40 billion euros between European and Egyptian companies. Speaking at the EU-Egypt Investment Conference in Cairo, she highlighted collaborations across industries including hydrogen, water management, construction, chemicals, shipping, aviation, and automotive. Von der Leyen praised Egypt’s aspirations to become a clean energy hub, underscoring the strategic partnership’s focus on political, economic, and security ties.
