(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended part of the morning session of three-day long World’s Islamic Economy Forum, which kicked off in Jumeirah city, Dubai, amid extensive local, regional and international participations.
The event is organised by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Islamic Economy Forum Corporation and Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC).
Among others present were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Duba, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Chairman of the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of Dubai Ruler’s Court and number of senior officials.
Sheikh Mohammed toured the exhibition on the sideline of the forum, where he was briefed on projects and programmes of participant states on the implementation of Islamic economic system and potentials to woo foreign investments in a number of economic and financial sectors.
