Dubai Int’l Project Management Forum kicks off

(Dubai) – Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, the Conventions Center at Madinat Jumeirah will host the launch of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF); which is held by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in collaboration with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and Emaar Properties.
The event features a wide international participation comprising elite global experts of project management field; which is the backbone of development strategies, and a key pillar of modern management science that has considerable bearing on drawing up the outlines and parameters ensuring the success of development efforts in various fields.
Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the RTA, welcomed the participants and attendees of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, saying: “When you visit Dubai, you will notice signs of topnotch infrastructure, economic growth, services of the highest standards, and a multitude of quality projects which attracted global attention, such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Metro, Dubai International Airport, Palm Jumeirah, and a lot others through which Dubai aims for the satisfaction and wellbeing of its residents.” This Forum, he says, comes as a direct result of the effective cooperation between the RTA, DEWA, Emaar Properties, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
