Prince William, 42, joined green entrepreneurs in London on Thursday for an event hosted by his charity Earthshot. Established in 2020, Earthshot awards multi-million pound prizes to support environmental technologies, inspired by William’s father, King Charles, and late grandfather Prince Philip. At the event, William met with environmental grant recipients, including Michael Bloomberg and actress Hannah Waddingham, discussing progress and future goals for the initiative aimed at tackling climate change. The Earthshot initiative draws its name from former U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s ambitious “Moonshot” project. William, driven by world leaders’ lackluster responses to climate challenges, aims to lead efforts towards achieving net-zero emissions.Despite his wife Catherine undergoing chemotherapy, William attended the event solo, having recently been seen with their children at a Taylor Swift concert in London.
