Abu Dhabi Launches New Guidelines for Businesses

The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi (DED) has issued new guidelines for businesses to ensure workplace health and safety and support employees needs as establishments re-open.

According to the guidelines issued by the Abu Dhabi Media Office on Twitter, low risk individuals eligible to be in the workplace, but can effectively do their jobs remotely will continue to work from home.

The low risk individuals eligible to be in the workplace include; those aged between 18-55. These individuals must be living alone or with low risk individuals. Also they must not be affected by chronic diseases.

Those not eligible to be in workplaces include people aged 55 and above, pregnant women and individuals living with anyone with chronic diseases or who is above 60 years old.
