(Barcelona) – Twelve people have been killed and dozens injured after a van ploughed into a crowd of people on a pavement in a popular tourist area of Barcelona, the Spanish police announced.
Meanwhile, Spanish media said that the incident left 13 people dead and more than 30 injured. The Catalonian police that the vehicle rammed into pedestrians in Las Ramblas, a busy tree-lined promenade in the centre of the Barcelona. The suspected assailant reported stormed a nearby restaurant.
