(Manama) – Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa received Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) Chief Executive Officer Hassan Ameen Jarrar.
The minister commended the BisB generous donation to the Zakat and Charities Fund marking the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan. He stressed the importance of Zakat as key pillar of Islam, cornerstone of Islamic economy and token of social solidarity.
Present were Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Dr. Farid bin Yacoub Al- Meftah, Religious Affairs Director Dr. Mohammed Al-Taher Al-Qattan, Zakat and Charities Fund Chairman Salah Haider and other officials.
