(New Delhi) – India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the Indian prime minister. The prime minister asked Sheikh Abdullah to convey his regards to the Their Highnesses, UAE leaders, and his best wishes of further progress and prosperity to the UAE.
Sheikh Abdullah stressed the UAE’s keenness and desire to strengthen co-operation and friendship to unlock more opportunities for growth and progress in all fields to serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples and countries.
For his part, the prime minister welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and his accompanying delegation, expressing the hope that the visit would have positive results in promotion of what has been achieved in the recent years of development in bilateral relations, exploring further prospects and opportunities of investment and partnership in the economic, investment, trade and tourism and agricultural projects, as well as renewable energy, energy projects, security and other fields.
He praised the success of the 11th Joint Commission session between the UAE and the Republic of India, hosted in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
