Turkish President arrives in UAE

President Abdullah Gul arrives in UAE(Abu Dhabi) – Turkish President Abdullah Gul arrived in Abu Dhabi on an official visit to the UAE. At the airport, he was received by H.H Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,┬áDeputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, Sheikhs and other important officials including Turkish and UAE ambassadors.
The visit of the Turkish President to the UAE is the first in 15 years. President Gul is accompanied by a delegation of 100 businesspersons that will take part in The UAE- Turkish Business Forum to be held in Dubai.
Ahead of his departure to Abu Dhabi, President Gul said in an interview that he is looking forward to holding fruitful talks with President Khalifa on bilateral relations and regional as well as international issues.
He described relations with the UAE as “historic and deep-rooted,” and aspired to further strengthen brotherly ties.
