Sheikh Mohammed honors DMCG Graduates

(Dubai) – H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Al Makhtoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, graced the graduation ceremony of Dubai Medical College (DMC) and Dubai Pharmacy College (DPC) at Joharah Ballroom of Madinat Jumeirah.

The event was also attended by H.H Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.E Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; H.E Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and the parents of graduate students.

Established by Haj Saeed bin Ahmed Al Lootah in 1986, DMC is the first private college to award a degree in medicine and surgery in the UAE.

Of the 126 graduated students who belonged to different countries, 61 received the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, while 59 received the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. The parents expressed joy over the success of their daughters in their studies.
