UAE President Highlights Climate Action at COP29 Summit
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the UAE, attended the opening session of the COP29 climate conference in Baku, Azerbaijan, where he reaffirmed the country’s commitment to accelerating climate action. Speaking at the World Leaders Climate Action Summit, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the UAE’s long-standing dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable development, reinforcing its role in building a climate-resilient future. The summit, held under the theme “In Solidarity for a Green World,” runs from November 11 to 22.
