(Dubai) – Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Enrico Letta, Prime Minister of Italy witnessed the signature ceremony of two memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the UAE Italy.
The first memorandum of understanding is on cooperation between Dubai’s Expo 2020 and Milan Expo 2015. The memorandum of understanding was signed from the Emirati side by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Emirates Group Sheikh and Chairman of the Expo 2020 Preparatory Committee, and from the Italian side Giuseppe Sala, Milan Expo 2015 Commissioner.
The second memorandum of understanding is a cooperation agreement between Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zones and the Italian Customs and Commercial Privileges Agency. The MoU was signed by Chairman of Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zones, Sultan Ahmad Bin Sulayem and the Italian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Giorgio Starace.
