(Dubai) – H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai opened the 20th edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airlines and Group and H.E. Sheikh Majed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority were also present on the occasion.
Sheikh Maktoum toured most of the pavilions and stands of governmental bodies and of the private companies from the UAE and around 90 Arab and Foreign countries participating in this annual event, which has grown year after year in terms of number of exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition showed the potential of around 2500 companies and government agencies specializing in the development of tourism and real estate sectors.
Sheikh Maktoum, was also accompanied by H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Ruler’s Court, a number of Heads of Government’s institutions and departments and renowned figures from the business sectors.
