Yas Marina Circuit Gears Up for 15th ABUDHABIGP Spectacle

ABU DHABI, November 20, 2023 (WAM) — As the 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix approaches, the Yas Marina Circuit is abuzz with preparations for the season finale from November 23rd to 26th. With over a hundred thousand motor sports enthusiasts expected, the world-renowned F1 landmark will host officials, A-list musical artists, VIP guests, celebrities, international media, and top drivers.

To ensure a pristine appearance for the anticipated global TV audience of over 100 million, a dedicated team has worked tirelessly on the 5.28km track, Grandstands, fan zones, hospitality spaces, and landscaped areas.

Cleaners equipped with high-pressure hoses have undertaken the monumental task of dusting the 228 canopies over 6,920 hours, while specialists installed a state-of-the-art LED lighting system to enhance efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

Landscaped areas covering 88.4 acres have been meticulously cared for, with gardeners planting seasonal flowers, petunias, diverse foliage, palms, and potted plants to add natural color and fragrance.

In the pit lane and paddocks, motor racing experts and logistics specialists manage arrivals for the FIA Formula 1 race, FIA F2 Championship races, and non-championship F4UAE sessions.

Technicians and safety experts conduct thorough inspections to ensure the safety of drivers, teams, and spectators. As the F1, F2, and F4 UAE race teams prepare to land in Abu Dhabi, the logistics team has meticulously arranged accommodations, furniture, fittings, equipment, forklift trucks, and access cards.

After 23 rounds of racing, the 2023 F1 season finale promises an unforgettable fan experience across Yas Island and Abu Dhabi.
