On Thursday, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, attended the inauguration of the second edition of Ras Al Khaimah Heritage Days, scheduled until December 25. The event, endorsed by H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, is organized by the Department of Antiquities and Museums in the Emirate. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud underscored the significance of preserving the nation’s cultural heritage, highlighting its role as a mirror reflecting the UAE’s memory, embodying its civilized message, national identity, and rich history. In the presence of officials, cultural figures, community members, and Emirati artists, Sheikh Ahmed witnessed the performance of “Julphar’s Epic Resilience” at Ras Al Khaimah’s National Museum, expressing pride in the Emirate’s cultural richness. The event, open from 4 to 9 pm, features heritage activities, craft displays, popular games, and live demonstrations of societal customs. Additionally, the festival includes an educational section with specialized workshops and lectures focusing on history, antiquities, and heritage.
