Headline Sharjah Hosts F1 Power Boat Championship

During a press conference on Thursday, Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), revealed the latest updates on the Sharjah World Championship Week (SWCW), starting Friday at Khalid Lagoon. The highly anticipated Formula 1 Powerboat Racing World Championship and the 22nd edition of the Sharjah Grand Prix are key events at the three-day spectacle, organized by SCTDA under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi. Al Midfa highlighted Sharjah’s advancements in hosting the international event, with improvements in venue, services, and facilities over the past 22 years. He expressed excitement about hosting delegations from various countries, including ministers, to witness the Formula 1 races determining the 2023 world champion at Khalid Lagoon.
