ABU DHABI, November 20, 2023 (WAM) — Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE National Arabian Horse Championship, hosted by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), kicks off tomorrow at the Boudheib Equestrian Academy in Al Khatm, Abu Dhabi.
Starting at 10:00 in the Grand Hall, the event will showcase 199 pure-bred Arabian horses, beginning with yearling fillies, followed by two and three-year-old fillies. Competitions will progress through mares aged four to six years, mares aged seven years and above, and yearling colts. The final day will feature two-year-old colts, three-year-old colts, and stallions aged four to six years, concluding with stallions aged seven years and above.
Judged on five criteria—Arabian identity, head and neck, body, legs, and movement—the championship awards gold, silver, and bronze titles to horses securing the first and second positions in each age category.
