UK appoints new HM Consul General & Trade Commissioner

H.E. Oliver Christian has assumed the responsibilities of HM Consul General & Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Pakistan at the British Embassy in Dubai. He will lead initiatives to create business opportunities for the UK while contributing to the growth of sustainable, resilient, and productive economies in the Middle East and Pakistan region. Oliver Christian previously served as the Head of the Prime Minister’s Business Unit at No10, overseeing significant investment and export deals, including the establishment of the UK Global Investment Summit and the Office of Investment from 2019 to 2023. With his extensive experience in expanding and enhancing economic ties, trade relations are expected to receive a new boost.
