Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Shusha District, Azerbaijan, and was warmly greeted by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The leaders will participate in an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) focused on “Building a Sustainable Future through Transport Connectivity and Countering Climate Change.”
The summit aims to enhance cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations. The OTS was established in 2009 and includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan as members, with Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus as observers.
