UK and UAE expand cooperation in Sustainability

H.E. Abdulla Balalaa, UAE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability, participated in a UK-led ministerial meeting on water security, emphasizing the need for urgent global action. The meeting, chaired by H.E. Baroness Chapman, gathered ministers and international leaders to explore collaborative solutions to the water crisis.  The Minister highlighted the UAE’s preparations for the 2026 UN Water Conference, stressing the importance of accelerating progress on Sustainable Development Goal 6. The Minister also  attended a reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by His Majesty King Charles III, focused on water and climate.
