Sarah Mooney Appointed British Consul General in Dubai
The newly appointed His Majesty’s Consul General in Dubai, Sarah Mooney met with Mr. Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer, Deputy Director of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dubai Office upon assuming responsibilities as His Majesty’s Consul General to Dubai and the Northern Emirates. With over two decades in the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Department for Business and Trade, Mooney has held key positions worldwide — including in Washington DC, New Delhi, Istanbul, and New York and has also served as British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi. She would also serve as His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Pakistan.
