The COP28 UAE and G20 Brazil Presidencies hosted a joint event on sustainable finance, marking a significant alignment of their agendas. Brazil has become the sixth G20 country to endorse the Framework.
On the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Brazil, COP28 Director General Amb.Majid Al Suwaidi engaged with finance ministers and leaders from Italy, Spain, and India. Discussions focused on advancing the COP28 Global Climate Finance Framework principles, emphasizing collective action, creating opportunities for all, and delivering at scale.
