In H1 2023, the UAE achieved a historic milestone in non-oil foreign trade, surpassing AED1.239 trillion, signifying a remarkable 14.4% growth compared to the same period in 2022 and a 3% increase from H2 2022. The Ministry of Economy revealed these figures, highlighting the nation’s sustained upward trajectory in foreign trade since 2020. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum commended this achievement, emphasizing the UAE’s position as a vital player in global trade. Notably, non-oil exports surged by 22%, with Türkiye emerging as a prominent trading partner with an 87.4% growth rate. Gold exports, in particular, saw a significant 40.7% increase.
