H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, visited the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to review infrastructure and smart traffic projects. He learned about RTA’s plans to expand Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) to enhance Dubai’s smart city status. The visit took place at the Dubai ITS Centre, a global traffic control hub that has improved traffic management, reducing travel time by 20%. His Highness also explored RTA’s road projects, safety initiatives, and cycling track expansion plans. Dubai’s efficient traffic systems were highlighted, surpassing several global cities in commute times.
