Chinese Expatriates Celebrate Year of the Dragon 2012

Chinese Dragon Year Celebration in Dubai(Dubai) – The Chinese community around the world is celebrating Year of the Dragon. The festive mood was also seen in some parts of Dubai as lion and dragon dances highlighted the first day of the Chinese lunar calendar.

To mark the occasion, the Burj Al Arab had its exterior ‘sail’ illuminated with a massive red dragon. The hotel also prepared two lion dances to cater to Chinese guests.

Chinese families rejoicing the New Year in the UAE marked their event in a traditional style. They gathered with friends and families, exchanged traditional Chinese food and wished for good health and a stable career.
