(Abu Dhabi) – President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the First Class Independence Order on the United States Ambassador to the UAE, Michael Corbin, in appreciation for his efforts during his tenure in the country, which contributed effectively to the development of friendship and cooperation ties between the UAE and the US.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, conferred the Order on the US envoy, in his office at the Ministry. Sheikh Abdullah congratulated the US Ambassador on receiving the Order, wishing him success in his future tasks.
The US envoy thanked the U.A.E. President, commending his wise leadership, while noting his significant regional and international roles. He also thanked UAE officials, especially at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for their cooperation during his tenure in the country.
