UAE-US military drill “Iron Union 5” concludes

(Abu Dhabi) – The UAE ground forces concluded their joint military drill “Iron Union 5” with the third US army. The exercise concluded with interception operations with live ammunition by various ground and air forces from both armies.

The Emirates News Agency said the two-week military drill is part of joint exercises carried out by the UAE forces in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries to boost the combat competence which asserts their resolve to deal decisively with all threats to the Arabian Gulf region.
