(Brussels) – Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, has chaired a roundtable discussion titled “The UAE, EU..Enhancing Economic Horizons,” at the headquarters of the European Parliament, EU, in Brussels.
The discussion was attended from UAE side by Suleiman Hamed Salem Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of the UAE Mission to EU and Laila Hareb Al Muhairi, Assistant Director General at the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority in addition to a number of EU officials.
Others who attended the meeting were members of the UAE delegation, officials from a number of EU member countries, ambassadors of the GCC States accredited to EU and Belgium as well as some key European officials.
Al Mansouri confirmed that the UAE and EU have similar aspirations and joint interests aimed to develop new and diversified cooperation fields and in line with the joint objectives which are aimed to build better future for the peoples. He added that EU and the UAE could explore distinguished opportunities to promote cooperation in a number of domains.
