Turkish President meets Palestinian leader

(Ankara) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said that the leaders discussed the Israeli assaults on Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian efforts to convene a session of the Palestinian National Assembly.

Efforts to end Palestinian divisions and achieve unity of land and people were also discussed, in addition to latest political developments and regional issues.
