(Dubai) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with a British Parliamentary delegation consisting of nine Conservative and Labour MPs in the House of Commons. During the meeting held in the presence of the Minister of State H.E. Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, they exchanged views on the ways to develop the historical friendship and relations between UAE and Britain, especially in the fields of education, culture, tourism and bilateral trade.
The delegation expressed the desire to take the relations to new horizons to achieve this goal, adding that the visit to the UAE by the delegation is conducted with this aim. Sheikh Mohammed stressed UAE’s keenness to enhance relations with the world countries, noting that a large number of Emirati students are studying in British universities and thousands of UAE nationals visit UK every year for tourism, business or treatment purposes.
