(Abu Dhabi) – H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has reiterated the UAE’s interest in the promotion of its humanitarian efforts around the world and the adoption of initiatives providing comprehensive care to those who deserve humanitarian services wherever they are.
In a meeting with Lord Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster, Sheikh Hamdan said that the achievements made by the UAE in the humanitarian fields impose greater commitment towards humanity and to work more on improving the life of the vulnerable in the world.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed welcomed the Duke of Westminster, praising the outstanding relations of friendship and cooperation existing between the UAE and the United Kingdom, which witnessed further growth and development in all fields.
The Duke of Westminster expressed his thanks to Sheikh Hamdan for his support for the Emirates Red Crescent’s activities, commending the leading role of the United Arab Emirates in various local and international humanitarian initiatives.
