Shaikh Nasser visits US National Training Centre
(Washington) – National Guard Commander, Brigadier-General, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, visited the US National Training Centre, where he met its Commanding Genera, Brigadier-General Jeff Broadwater, in the presence of a number of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) officers.
HH Shaikh Nasser discussed with the Centre’s officials ways to enhance military cooperation between the two sides in the fields training and rehabilitation, as well as ways to benefit from the US military expertise.
HH Shaikh Nasser asserted the depth of the Bahrain-US strategic relations through the existing partnership between them in various fields.
He highlighted the steadily-growing bilateral relations, especially in the military field, lauding the depth of the deep-rooted ties between the two friendly countries, describing those relations as exemplary in the region.
While discussing with the centre’s areas of cooperation and ways to develop them, HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on developing and activating its relations with the US.
He affirmed that his visit is within the framework of existing bilateral cooperation, and with the two countries’ efforts to achieve security and stability in the region through strengthening cooperation in the fields of combating terrorism and extremism.
