(Abu Dhabi) – President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa has received the new UAE electronic passport at Al Diyafa Palace.
The meeting was attended by H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Hamed, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan, Advisor to the UAE President, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed, Executive Council Member, Dr. Sheikh Saeed, Sheikh Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ahmed Juma, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs along with a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.
Sheikh Khalifa expressed admiration on the modern design and high-tech features of the passport following its receipt from H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. He said that this achievement comes in the framework of the implementation of governmental strategy on improving the government work to keep pace with international standards and help build a high-level security cover keeping pace with modern technological developments practiced in the most advance countries of the world.
