(Abu Dhabi) – President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, received Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) at Al Rawdha Palace. President was briefed by Al Zayani on preparations for the upcoming 14th consultative summit of the GCC leaders scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia and was also updated on what had been implemented in regards to resolutions issued by the GCC summit held in Riyadh last December.
The GCC secretary general said he had the honour of meeting the UAE leader. He added that he listened to the sound and prudent directives of Sheikh Khalifa on adequate means to energise the GCC joint action and also sensed President’s keenness to push GCC integration forward so to be able to address present and future challenges.
H.E. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, National Security Advisor, H.E. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, Abu Dhabi Ruler‘s Representative, H.E. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.E. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed , Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, H.E. Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and a number of top officials also attended the meeting.
