PM attends workshop on RTA’s 2030 plan

(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has attended part of a workshop which explored the 2030 plans of the Roads and Transport Authority, RTA in Dubai, including innovative solutions to improve mobility in the city.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, who was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and attendees, were presented the latest solutions and developments in the transport and communications sector, the most important challenges facing Dubai in this vital sector, and innovative solutions that can be used for addressing those challenges.
During the workshop, which attracted the participation of international experts, Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, presented a summary of the desired objectives which create a competitive environment that provides global standards for transportation systems, and innovative solutions to improve the transport in the city.
