(Lima) – Peruvian President, Ollanta Humala received Foreign Minister of UAE, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and delegation accompanying him.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa to the Peruvian President on his inauguration in the presidential office. For his part, Humala conveyed his regards and wishes to the UAE President and prosperity to the UAE.
Sheikh Abdullah stressed the effective role of Peru in boosting the relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States and South America States. The two sides also discussed the ways to bolster the relations between the two countries.
Earlier Sheikh Abdullah met Peruvian Foreign Minister Rafael Roncagliolo. Both the leaders discussed the bilateral relations.
The two meetings were also attended by H.E. Sultan bin Sulayem, Board Chairman of Dubai World Ports, H.E. Mohammed Eisa Al Qattam Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Argentina and Non Resident Ambassador to Peru, Khalid Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Economic Affairs and Abdulla Al Saboosi, Director of the Department of American and Pacific Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
