(Brussels) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met European Parliament President Martin Schulz and updated him on latest developments.
The two sides discussed the aftermath of the Paris conference during which the European Parliament adopted the French Initiative.
President Abbas headed to Brussels on an official visit during which he delivered a speech at the European Parliament on latest developments in Palestine amid Israeli escalation.
President Abbas also held a phone call with the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Bert Koenders and discussed Palestinian developments and efforts to convene an international conference to push the peace process forward.
