National committee for World Energy Congress meets

(Abu Dhabi) – His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, stressed that the high stature of the UAE as an influential country, in terms of energy in particular, is the fruit of the directives and efforts of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is keen on harnessing the required resources for the achievement of maximum progress and prosperity.
His Highness the Crown Prince said, “The UAE’s good international reputation and friendship and cooperation with other countries contributed to its successful bids to host several international conferences and forums and international organisation’s offices.” H.H. Sheikh Mohamed was speaking as he received, at the Qasr Al Bahar, the chairman and members of the UAE National Committee for the World Energy Congress (WEF), which the UAE will host in 2019.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation for the support shown by the brotherly and friendly countries for the UAE’s successful bid to host the WEF in 2019.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed also thanked the national committee members for their successful efforts for hosting the event, and directed them to make even more efforts to prepare for hosting the event in a manner that reflects the good reputation and the civilisational and developmental progress.
