
(Manama) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a letter from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, dealing with deep-rooted historic relations between the two countries, in addition to regional and international developments.
HM the King received at Al-Safriya Palace, Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, who delivered the letter. The minister conveyed to HM the King greetings from President el-Sisi, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
HM the King extended greetings to the Egyptian leader, wishing his country and people further progress and prosperity. He expressed pride in solid bilateral relations binding the two countries, stressing leaders’ keenness on expanding cooperation to serve joint vital interests.
HM the King commended fraternal visits which, he said, support joint cooperation and coordination on all levels, particularly in these critical regional conditions which require concerted efforts to confront dangers and overcome current challenges. He commended Egypt’s stances in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. He hailed the pivotal role of Egypt in championing the causes of the Arab nation and its vital interests and protecting the pan-Arab security. “Egypt is key a pillar and source of strength for all Arabs”, HM the King said.
The Egyptian minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing his keenness on bolstering bilateral relations. Shoukry lauded Bahrain’s stances in support of Egypt and its people, hailing its honourable role in promoting pan-Arab action.
