King hails Bahraini-Russian relations
(Manama) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed solid relations and steadily-growing economic and trade cooperation between Bahrain and Russia.
This came as he received, at Al-Safriya Palace, a Russian business delegation, led by Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov, marking their visit to attend the first meeting of the Russian-Bahrain intergovernmental commission in trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation.
HM the King welcomed the Russian minister and accompanying delegation, stressing the importance of the historic visit which will consolidate bilateral economic, trade and investment relations.
He reiterated Bahrain’s drive to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation and paid tribute to Russian President Vladimir Putin for his keenness on enhancing joint ties, looking forward to his visit soon.
HM the King hailed the good outcome of the first session of the Russian-Bahrain intergovernmental commission in trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation.
He underscored the crucial role of the private sector in supporting cooperation and exchanging business visits to benefit from the joint agreements and spearhead more ventures and exhibitions that benefit both countries.
He hailed his successful visits to Russian and fruitful talks with President Vladimir Putin which, he said, good results that consolidate bilateral relations.
He commended the pivotal and influential international role played by Russia as well as its contributions to the cause of security and peace in the world.
The Russian minister and accompanying delegation thanked HM the King, hailing his keenness on bolstering relations and encouraging cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation.
