Information Minister receives Pakistani ambassador

(Manama) – Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has lauded the depth of the Bahraini-Pakistani relations of friendship and cooperation.

He also praised the steady growth of bilateral relations, which, he said, are based on mutual respect, as well as the two countries’ keenness on strengthening regional and global security and peace.

The minister was speaking while receiving the Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain, Javed Malik, with whom he discussed ways to bolster bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of mutual interest.

Al-Romaihi appreciated Pakistan’s firm stances in support of the security and stability of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf, reiterating Bahrain’s pride in the distinguished contributions of the Pakistani expatriate community to various fields of its economic and social development.

The Pakistani envoy expressed thanks and appreciation to the Information Affairs Minister for receiving him, affirming the two countries’ shared keenness on strengthening their solid relations, especially in the media field.
