(Manama) – Information Affairs Ministry organised, in cooperation with the Bahrain Ardha Society and the “City Centre” Mall, an Ardha show marking Saudi Arabia’s National Day.
Visitors from the Eastern Region in Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as well as shoppers attended the festivity held at “City Centre” Mall.
The celebration reflects the distinguished position enjoyed by Saudi Arabia in the hearts of Bahrainis, given the Bahraini-Saudi peoples’ cohesion and common destiny.
Those present expressed pride in marking the Saudi National Day on an occasion which is dear to all Bahraini, GCC and Arab citizens, given the status of Saudi Arabia as the destination for more two billion Muslims.
In this regard, the Bahrain Satellite Channel covered the event live, and broadcast a number of programmes and reports which highlighted the solid deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries. Those programmes hosted a great number of political, literary, cultural, artistic, religious and social figures, as well as members of the Legislative Branch and officials, who spoke about the distinguished Bahraini-Saudi relations in various fields.
The Ardha show attendees expressed pleasure at attending the event. They also extended sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Defence Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. They wished them abundant good health and further progress and prosperity to Saudi Arabia and its people.
