(Bangkok) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa called on the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) summit to stand decisively against laws encroaching on countries sovereign immunity and which are a source of great concern for the international community due to their repercussions on international relations and cooperation.
HRH the Prime Minister made the remarks at a meeting with his Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha during a visit to the Thai government headquarters in Bangkok. He was received on arrival by the Thai Premier and senior officials.
HRH the Prime Minister and his Thai counterpart asserted rejection of any dictated policies pertaining to countries internal affairs and urged to maintain social cohesion by steering clear of any religious of doctrinal fanaticism affecting national unity. They also underscored keenness on bolstering bilateral relations and cooperation, mainly in political, economic and social fields.
The Thai Premier commended HRH the Prime Minister’s wisdom and statesmanship, lauding his outstanding regional and international role which set a model to emulate.
HRH the Prime Minister wrote in the Visitors’ Book at the Thai government’s headquarters, expressing appreciation of the advanced level of bilateral relations and keenness to boost them at all levels.
