HRH Premier hails solid ties with Qatar

(Manama) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace the outgoing Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani.

HRH Premier praised the steadily-progressing solid Bahraini-Qatari ties, voicing satisfaction over the current level of bilateral relations and cooperation.

HRH the Prime Minister expressed delight over meeting the Qatari Amir HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the sidelines of the 37th GCC Summit, highlighting the importance of such meetings in bolstering bilateral cooperation.

The Prime Minister commended the efforts exerted by the ambassador to enhance the deep-rooted bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.

HRH the Prime Minister requested the ambassador to convey his greetings to the Qatari Amir, HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of the Qatari Amir, Shaikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Shaikh Abdulla bin Nasser Al Thani, as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to brotherly Qatar.

Ambassador Shaikh Jassim expressed pride in HRH the Prime Minister’s interest in boosting the Bahraini-Qatari relations, and bolstering cooperation and coordination in various fields.

He also lauded the Prime Minister’s support to him throughout his tenure, which, he said, has facilitated his diplomatic work.
