HM King thanked by Public Security Chief

(Manama) – Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan expressed thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his directive speech to the forces of the GCC joint security exercise “Arabian Gulf Security1”and the deep meanings of his speech on the importance of the exercise to support field security coordination and cooperation. He also valued the directives and follow-up of His Excellency the Interior Minister.

He highlighted in an interview on Bahrain Television that Bahrain forces have been well prepared for the event, this had promoted GCC countries to choose the country as the host state of the exercise. He said that the exercise is a clear message to anyone tampering with regional security and it reflects the GCC regional counterterrorism efforts.

The Public Security Chief said that the exercise’s scenarios are based on regional threats and security development as part of the duties of GCC security authorities.
