(Manama) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed deep-rooted relations binding Bahrain and Thailand, lauding steadily-growing cooperation in all fields. He made the comments as he received at Al-Sakhir Palace – in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier – Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai, on an official visit to attend the 3rd meeting of the joint cooperation committee.

Pramudwinai conveyed to HM the King greetings from Thai monarch Maha Vajiralongkorn and Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, who wished the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. HM the King extended greetings to the Thai monarch and his people, wishing them further progress and prosperity. He commended the good outcome of the Bahrain-Thai Joint Committee’s meeting which, he said, would boost political, economic, trade and investment cooperation.

He commended the fruitful results of his visit to Thailand last year, which bolstered solid historical relations. He described the Kingdom of Thailand as a friendly country which plays an important role in the Asian and international arenas, hailing its economic, development and tourism strides.

HM the King hailed advanced bilateral relations, stressing Bahrain’s keenness on consolidating partnerships and benefiting from expertise in supporting projects and programmes. He commended the contribution of the Thai community to Bahrain’s development and progress. The Thai minister paid tribute to HM the King, hailing his crucial role and strenuous efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and consolidate joint cooperation and coordination on all levels. He hailed Bahrain’s development strides, led by HM the King, and stressed the two countries’ keenness on bolstering joint cooperation.
