HM King praises Bahraini-US cooperation

(Manama) – His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, at Sakhir Palace, received Chairman and CEO of Schlumberger Global Oilfield Services, Paal Kibsgaard, on the sidelines of his visit to Bahrain.

HM the King praised the Bahraini-US relations in various fields, chiefly in energy, investment, trade and economic areas.

HM the King commended the ongoing cooperation between the National Authority for Oil and Gas and Schlumberger, noting the company’s projects and services provided for local and international oil companies.

World oil markets developments were also tackled.

Kibsgaard gave a brief on Schlumberger’s activities and future investment plans in a number of countries, lauding the long standing cooperation with the kingdom of Bahrain.

Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was present.
