(Dubai) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has emphasized the importance of coordination, doubling national efforts nationwide and developing government work mechanism in accordance with national agenda to achieve the UAE’s aspirations.
Sheikh Mohammed made the remarks at Emirates Towers in Dubai while reviewing the steps of implementing the national agenda which was launched last January for seven years in line with the U.A.E. Vision 2021 that coincides with the Golden Jubilee of the UAE.
H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, and H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, attended the meeting.
The national agenda includes projects in the educational, health, economic, police, housing, infrastructure and government service sectors. Sheikh Mohammed said, ” I am pleased to be familiarized with these findings, which make us closer to our objective represented in achieving our national vision. This is a good start, but the accomplishment of our goals to make our people the happiest people in the world, and to make our country among the developed countries, require hard work and double efforts with an unwavering determination towards the future.”
